# VVLLC Refund & Arbitration Policy

At Veteran Vision LLC (VVLLC), we stand behind the quality and modularity of every system we build. This Refund & Arbitration Policy is designed to balance customer protection with sustainable business practices.

## Refund Eligibility

1. **Unopened Products**
   - Full refund (minus shipping costs) will be issued for any product returned unopened, in its original, undisturbed packaging.
   - Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

2. **Defective Products**
   - If a product is found to be defective and no resolution can be agreed upon, VVLLC will issue a full refund, including shipping costs from VVLLC’s end.
   - Returned units will be inspected. Refunds apply only if the defect is confirmed to be a manufacturing or hardware fault.
   - Units damaged due to user error, misuse, or unauthorized modification are not eligible for a full refund.

3. **Used Products**
   - If a customer finds a product less than suitable for their needs, VVLLC may issue a **partial refund**.
   - The refund amount will depend on:
     - The condition of the unit upon inspection.
     - The age of the unit at the time of return.
   - VVLLC will provide a written assessment and refund calculation.

4. **Time Limits**
   - No refunds will be issued for any unit more than **two (2) years** after purchase.
   - Refunds are also limited by the terms of the **Limited Liability Warranty (LLW)**.
   
5. **Certified Used Parts**
   - Certified Used Parts are sold as‑is with a 30‑day DOA guarantee.
   - Refunds or replacements will only be issued if the product is confirmed non‑functional upon delivery. 
   - No refunds will be granted for performance dissatisfaction, cosmetic condition, or issues arising after the 30‑day DOA period.
   - Certified Used Parts are not eligible for partial refunds or extended warranty coverage.

## Additional Terms

- **Return Authorization:** All returns must be pre‑authorized by VVLLC Support. Unauthorized returns may be rejected.  
- **Refund Method:** Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.  
- **Restocking Fee:** VVLLC reserves the right to apply a reasonable restocking fee for opened but non‑defective products.

## Arbitration Agreement

By purchasing a VVLLC product, you agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to your purchase, this Refund Policy, or the Limited Liability Warranty shall be resolved by **binding arbitration** administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).  

- Arbitration will take place in **Knoxville, Tennessee**.  
- Each party will bear its own costs, except as otherwise required by law.  
- The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding, with limited rights of appeal.  
- By agreeing to arbitration, both VVLLC and the customer waive the right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.
